How I Got Here
I was trained early to pay attention to structure. I studied Classics and storytelling, where meaning comes from pattern, repetition, and restraint rather than ornament. That way of thinking still shapes how I approach marketing work. I look for the underlying logic that gives something coherence over time, not just the surface expression.
My career has moved between building marketing from scratch and working inside large organizations. At Wholesale Supplies Plus, that meant owning strategy and execution simultaneously, learning how creative decisions translate into real business outcomes.
At UC San Diego and Victoria’s Secret, it meant operating within more complex systems, where clarity upstream determines whether work holds together at scale. Across all of it, I’ve learned that good strategy is less about invention than about judgment.
I’m drawn to work that requires decisions before certainty. I’m comfortable stepping in early, making priorities explicit, and refining direction once it meets reality. That orientation shapes how I work with teams and how I think about brands.
Meaning first. Structure that supports it. Execution that makes sense.
